Big Girl!

We had to make an unscheduled trip to the doctor on Monday. Everything checked out well so we are happy about that but they did weigh Emma. She has gained 2 pounds since she went to the doctor at the first of the month. She now weighs 11pds11oz. This would explain why some of Christmas clothes aren't fitting. She is getting to be so big. After the doctor yesterday we went to Mommy and Daddy's office to see her Aunties. They were so excited to see her. When we got home last night she sat up on her own, stayed up for a minute and then toppled over but that was a first. She also is discovering her splashing reflexes in the tub and soaked mommy. She has also learned how to squeal at the top of her lungs and likes to do this. It drives Lilly crazy but Emma is just starting her payback. Well that is all for now.

These are some pics we took from the past weekend. We thought she looked too adorable not to take some snap shots and share. She was very fashionable for it to have been in the teens for temps. We had just got back from Emma attending her first birthday party with her friends Colton and Ansley. We weren't able to get a pic of the three of them together but someday. Emma will be 11 weeks old on Friday. You never realize just how fast time is going until you have a baby. This week she has started sitting up of course you still have to support her but that is a big change and she is pushing up with her little legs. In our favorite store this weekend, she had to be carried around so she could see everything instead of laying in her stroller. She is still cooing and we are already starting to show some signs of teething. Yippee. She loves being a snuggle bug and I love that about her. She is starting to sit in her swing and bouncy or lay on her activity mat and play. She likes to look in the mirror at the pretty baby and smile. We hope everyone continues to have a good week and weekend. 

Ross Christmas

These are a few pics from the week Mark, Marty and Kim were here visiting for Christmas. We were also able to celebrate Marty's birthday before they left to go back to Texas. We can't wait until we are all able to be together again which will hopefully be in June for a family get together.

Here are a few pics from Christmas with my family. Emma slept through a majority of it or at least when we opened presents. Mawmaw and Pawpaw spoiled her of course. We had a wonderful time getting to see everyone. 

Mark, Marty and Kim have been in town this past week. I will post some pics from their visit when we get a copy. In the midst of trying to get everything together I forgot the camera. We spent Tuesday at Katie and David's house for Christmas and then on Friday we spent the day in Franklin. We are so glad for the time we got to spend with them and look forward to the next time we are all together. 

Emma is growing so much. She is now 8 weeks old. She holds her head up so well and is much more alert and looking around. It's hard to believe how fast time goes by when you have a baby. Hope everyone had a great Holiday season.
