Trip to the beach

We wanted to share some pics from our recent trip to the beach at Orange Beach, AL. We left early Friday morning and just got back this afternoon. Weather was warm but nice. Bryan spent a day at the movies while my mom and I shopped at the outlet mall for Emma. Katie, my oldest niece, kept Bryan busy on Saturday by not letting him out of the ocean until it was time to get in the pool. We got to have dinner on Saturday at Lamberts which was so tasty. We had a wonderful time, so much so we didn't want to come back.

Our house and 4th of July

As you are all aware, we have been quite busy these last couple of weeks. We are in the house and have been able to put our touch on some things. Bryan's parents were up for the 4th and helped us complete many tasks. We were able to have dinner that Friday with his parents, sister, brother-in-law and nephew. It was so much fun to have everyone around. We have learned that they do a neighborhood fireworks show that goes on for several days in our subdivision. We have been able to meet a few of our neighbors which we really enjoyed. We will keep you updated on everything as it goes.

We are in

Well, we are in our house. We had the house painted on Friday and were able to move all day Saturday. Bryan has to finish getting a couple of small items at his place tonight and cleaning. I have until next Friday to have everything out. We are glad to be in our own home. We are trying to get Lilly Belle potty trained outside. That is an adventure in itself. She helped supervise Bryan hanging curtain rods yesterday and would bark if he did something wrong. We will be spending the weekend with Bryan's family. His parents will be in on Thursday. We can't wait to show them the house.

IT'S A ..................

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!! WE FOUND OUT THURSDAY AFTERNOON. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL. WE HAVE A TON OF PICS AND A VIDEO. SHE HAS LONG SKINNY FEET AND TOES AND LONG LEGS. SHE WAS CATNAPPING WHEN WE STARTED AND THEN THE TECH WOKE HER UP SO WE COULD SEE. SHE FINALLY GOT MAD ABOUT EVERYTHING AND THREW A TEMPER TANTRUM. WE WERE TRYING TO GET A GOOD PIC OF HER NOSE AND MOUTH AND SHE WAS BEING VERY STUBBORN LIKE BRYAN AND I AND WAS PUTTING HER HANDS OVER HER NOSE. I'M RIGHT ON SCHEDULE. I WAS 19 WEEKS AND 4 DAYS SO WE ARE STILL SET FOR NOVEMBER 17TH. WE WILL HAVE OUR OWN LITTLE TURKEY FOR THE HOLIDAYS. WE WILL POST THESE LATER ON BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO A SCANNER SINCE WE ARE MOVING THIS WEEKEND INTO THE HOUSE. IT IS OFFICIAL, WE ARE NOW HOMEOWNERS. BRYAN, MY DAD AND A FAMILY FRIEND ARE PAINTING THE HOUSE TODAY SO WE CAN MOVE IN TOMORROW AND SUNDAY. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET SETTLED. WE WILL TAKE PICS WHEN WE GET IN SO EVERYONE CAN SEE IT.

We are married!

We were married on June 14th in my hometown of Lawrenceburg. The wedding venue turned out gorgeous and the weather cleared up long enough for people to get in and out and for us to take some pics outside. I'm going to post some snapshots we have received. If anyone has pics from the wedding let us know we want to get copies to put in an album along with our professional pics. We want to say thanks to all of Bryan's friends for coming from out of town for such a short trip. We also want to say thank you and how much we appreciate our parents, siblings, nieces and nephew, aunts and uncles and my friends for helping with all the wedding stuff. Next week will be another big week for us. We go on the 26th to find out if it is a boy or girl and close on our house all in the same day. We can't wait to get pics up from the ultrasound and us moving into the house. We can't wait to have everybody up to actually show off the house. We do hope to take a rest during July before we start getting the nursery finished. Look for upcoming blogs!
